FFO2016 Results

Freediving Finnish Open 2016 was competed this weekend in Turku at the Impivaara pool which is the venue for the AIDA Pool World Championships 2016. The competition was the grand rehersal for the Finnish Divers' Federation and internationally open competiton gave also athletes from other countries a possibility to explore the conditions. Many personal best and national records are a good indicator of the pool conditions and we got excellent comments how to make improvement for the worlds.

In the international series of the competition the ranking was based on total score from all three pool disciplines. In the mens series Goran Colak got the gold with an impressive total score of 324 point. The Finnish Mikko Pöntinen was second and Willi Hoffmann from Germany the third. In the womens series there was a tight competition between the Polish ladies Agnieszka Kalska and Magdalena Solich who were braking the national records one after another. Kilpailun tulokset

Viikonlopun vapaasukelluksen SM-kisat Turun Impivaaran uimahallissa keräsivät jälleen kerran kovat suomalaiset yhteen taistelemaan allaslajien mitaleista.
